Star Dog is a program that teaches children ages 14 to 18 how to work with shelter dogs, learning dog handling skills that are immediately transferrable to their own pets.

At the same time, our shelter dogs learn new things that increase the speed with which they are adopted.

Everyone wins, and everyone has a good time!

Preregistration is required, but you don’t need to attend the usual volunteer orientation.
