Lonely Heart Pets
There are no time limits for animals in our shelter.
We work hard to place our adoptable animals as quickly as possible
because that’s what is best for them.
But sometimes, through no fault of his or her own,
an animal sits on our adoption floor for weeks, even months.
This animal becomes a LONELY HEART PET.
We try to give our LONELY HEART PETS as much
publicity and attention as we can-not because they
are in danger of “running out of time”, but because
they are loving creatures who deserve to live in a real home,
not our temporary one.

Lulu is a lovely domestic shorthair tabby cat, and our current Lonely Heart. We estimate Lulu’s age to be about one year old. Lulu is a very friendly cat who has lived with other cats before and we’re told she was friendly to them too. Lulu has been at the shelter since June and she really deserves to find a forever home before fall comes around. As much as we love having her with us we will be very happy when she finds that special person (or persons) to love her. Lulu has been spayed, is current on all her vaccinations, was given a routine deworming, and is ready to go home today! Lulu’s adoption fee is $50.00. Stop by the shelter to meet this joyful kitty today!

Where’s Sinbad? I thought he was a Lonely Heart?

Sinbad is indeed our latest Lonely Heart. He isn’t on the website as such because we’ve been too busy preparing for the Open House! However, he is being promoted within the shelter, and will appear on the website as soon as we can shake someone free to write him up.
Thanks for noticing!
